i think they should earn a little more because they contribute more to the economy, so they earning more makes them less worried about money and more motivated so they can contribute even more. but there should not be too much inequality either, and i'd like it if power and money weren't so tightly linked, so the best workers of a company earn more than or equal to the boss (but that might be hard to enforce)
